Free Writing #2
I can definitely say that I have a great life. My worries are usually problems for me because I take them too seriously. But then I see films that show me how people from other countries live and I call myself a lucky man. By watching Greg help those who are unfortunate makes me want to work harder and stop complaining about my issues. Not only to improve my life but to be successful, this can lead to helping others in the future. During the film I closed my eyes and imagine what it what it would be like being in such conditions, drinking dirty water and not having an education. Well I can definitely say that it was not a good feeling. Greg can be seeing as an inspirational man, and by helping others he can certainly expect respect. I believe by showing to the world what such man is doing can open more eyes, and more hearts so more wealthy people can help those who need the support. I am no one to judge but I see my country, my people and I see them following the materialistic world.

Great thought at the end. If more people in our country were like Greg than more people would like us.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. Sometimes we think that we have it bad, but in reality there are people in the world that have it twice as bad as we do. When we realize this is when we see that we actually don't have it too bad compared to others and we become grateful.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good way too look at life, our life in bad situations are nothing compared to the ways other people live in third world countries. i agree with you completely.
